HW1556作为脉宽调制(PWM)控制器,具有******率、出色的瞬态响应和极高的直流输出精度,能够将较高的电池电压转换成笔记本电脑内部的核或芯片组/RAM所需的低电压偏置电源。输出电压由动态REFIN控制,该动态电压支持0至2V的输入范围。REFIN调节与反馈输入端的电阻分压器相结合,可将输出电压设置在0至0.9VIN之间。
控制器检测流过同步整流器的电流,从而实现低成本、******谷电流限制保护。可调节的限流门限提高了设计灵活性,采用NTC可实现热补偿保护;采用输出分压方式能够实现折返式限流保护。
包含电压控制的软启动和软关断,有效抑制输入浪涌电流,保证单调上电(到达预充电压),并可预置上电时间。该控制器还具有输出故障保护(欠压和过压保护)以及热故障保护功能。
